I'm Jennifer, the founder and owner of Refreshed Furniture Design. As a single mom of two college-aged kids who left home years ago, I found myself in need of a fulfilling hobby to fill my time. That's when I stumbled upon the world of refinishing furniture, and it quickly became my passion.

Along my journey, I have had the privilege of learning from highly experienced furniture finishers who have shared their knowledge and expertise with me. I continue to expand my skills and knowledge, always seeking new techniques and approaches to enhance my craft.

One of my true loves is working with milk paints and stains. These mediums allow me to breathe new life into tired, worn-out furniture and give them a fresh purpose. It's incredibly fulfilling to take an old, beat-up piece and turn it into a stylish and functional item that can be cherished for years to come.

Located in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon, we serve the local community and beyond with our passion for furniture refinishing. Each piece we work on is meticulously hand-painted using high-quality water-based paints. We believe in using eco-friendly practices, which is why most of the products we use in the finishing process are low to no VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

To ensure the longevity and durability of our finishes, we take pride in protecting each piece with a high-quality sealer. You have the freedom to choose the type of sealer that suits your preferences, be it furniture wax, water-based polyurethane, shellac, or lacquer. Rest assured, we only use trusted and premium products to safeguard your furniture's beauty for years to come.
